I love it when couples chose a meaningful spot for their engagement session. When the location is familiar and reminds them of something greater, I have found that it allows the couple to loosen up a bit quicker and have fun reminiscing on special memories! Whitney and Corey chose the Capitol building in Downtown Raleigh because it was the spot where Corey was planning on proposing to Whitney, but things went a little bit different than planned. The night Corey was planning to propose to Whitney with the most beautiful Sapphire ring, they ate a delicious meal at Second Empire and then took a carriage ride through downtown Raleigh. The plan was for the carriage to stop at the Capitol building where Corey would propose, but he couldn’t wait, so he proposed right there in the carriage. After getting to know Whitney and Corey a bit more, this could not describe them more. They celebrate life through each beautiful imperfect moment, and make most of what life has to offer them.
Congratulations Whitney and Corey! I am so excited for your mountain wedding!
