By the second editorial shoot at The Lively Workshop everyone was starting to get into their own groove of things. I was starting to feel my own photography style coming out, and feeling more confident in what I was photographing. I love everything about this shoot: the rain drops, the gorgeous Hayley Paige gown, and the model’s infectious smile. I was pushed to capture the setting the way I was seeing it, and had the creative freedom to cater the shoot to my personal photography style.

Perry Vaile is incredible to watch; her eye catches art in a way that can not be learned. At the same time, she is extremely encouraging in finding your own “artistic eye” and capturing that in an elegant way. For me, I love a good laugh or smile. Weddings are a happy day, and I love to capture that “butterfly-in-your-stomach” wedding day joy. Our wonderful model was more than happy to giggle when needed and display that giddiness a bride feels on her big day.

This styled shoot will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I hope you fall in love with it as much as I did!
