I had been looking forward to this wedding for months. It took place on June 9th at Fearrington Village. Exactly 10 years prior to this wedding, on June 22 at the same Fearrington Village, Will and I got married. We were fresh out of college, just like this sweet couple. There were so many things that reminded me of our day, I was basically an emotional mess all day. Not to mention I was pregnant, so cue allll the tears.
Sydney and Jamie are steady. I wish you could see them together – they are quite obviously best friends, which is my favorite part of their relationship. They love to laugh and joke and have fun together, and they are so comfortable together. Not to mention, they make the most gorgeous couple! (Thanks for making my job so easy!) Truly though, their genuine hearts are what makes them the most beautiful – they are so incredibly trusting and easy to work with.
Here’s what I loved most about their day:
Sydney’s relationship with her daddy. When he saw her for the first time and when they danced – two of my top favorite moments from the day.
The details crafted and styled by Rebecca Rose Creative. I adore any chance I get to work with this incredibly gifted team, and they blew me away that day.
Sydney’s style, down to the necklace she wore. Everything about her wedding was so unique.
Jamie and all of his guys, laughing and having a great time. There was a quiet confidence about him that he knew he was getting the greatest gift that day.
Sydney’s love for florals and gardens and the outdoors. It shined so brightly throughout their day and every detail and choice.
The old couple that danced their hearts out at the reception.
I could keep going, but I’ll let you see the rest of the moments for yourself in photos. Sydney and Jamie, I have been so incredibly blessed to be part of your wedding day. From one June Fearrington couple to another, hear me when I say Marriage ONLY gets better if you work hard and stay humble. God has big things in store for you both!!
