Let me just tell y’all something about this couple. They are not a couple that I have a long history with, or someone I was even friends with before I became their photographer, but these two have become some of my sweetest friends over the last two years.
Sarah Beth is sweet, tenderhearted, and is the biggest cheerleader for everyone around her. Cody is strong, a wonderful leader, and loves Sarah Beth sacrificially. Getting to be just a tiny part of their journey was such a privilege for me. Sarah Beth and I just clicked, and frequently found it hard to stay on topic whenever we were supposed to be chatting about wedding things!
However, aside from how wonderful these two are, one of my very favorite things about them is their love for their families. Sarah Beth’s family is a tight-knit, power-house, adorable quartet. Sarah Beth and her sister are each the perfect combination of their parents in both looks and personalities. Cody fits perfectly in this little quartet and makes them an even more fun quintet, ha! Cody and his mom have a bond I can only pray I one day have with my kiddos. It was said frequently on their wedding day, but I am going to say it again; Cody loves Sarah Beth so very well, because he has loved his mama the same way for many many years. He is a bold protecter and a gentle comforter and it is so evident, you could see it with just one interaction with him.
Sarah Beth and Cody have impeccable taste so I knew their wedding was going to be timeless. Every detail was beautiful and a small reflection of their personal style. I am so incredibly grateful to have gotten to know these two as clients and love them as friends. Sarah Beth and Cody, thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your big day, and the even greater honor of getting to call you a friend. I am forever grateful for you both.
