Good gracious you guys. Where in the world do I start with this one? You know these faces by now. They are the Quirk family. and I love them a whole lot. Like a whole, whole, whole lot.
Jen was our intern a little while back, and since then we’ve kind of just adopted her into our little NRP family. She now officially second shoots for us at weddings, attends trainings, and hangs with each of us a lot, especially Callie because they live like, a half a mile apart. And we’re all kinda jealous of that.
One of my favorite things about being a family photographer is the glimpse I get into “real life”. Real life is where the joy is found, guys. It’s certainly not perfect, but if you can trudge through the hard, “pull your hair out” moments, you’re bound to find your favorite ones. That’s why my absolute favorite family sessions involve parents who choose to roll with chaos and help their children chase down and catch chickens for their pictures (looking at you Jen).
All I can say is that the Quirk home is wonderfully loud and chaotic, and so incredibly full of joy and bursting with love, that I kind of just want to camp out in their front yard with my camera. (don’t worry, I won’t).
Quirk family we love you guys!
