I am finding it difficult to describe just how much I loved this engagement session. It is the most unique engagement session I’ve ever photographed. I always ask my couples to think of a location that is meaningful to them, something that they love or enjoy to do together. Natalie and Jantzen took this to a whole new level, and I love that about them! To really explain how sweet this couple is, I think I need to introduce you to them individually.
Natalie is a sweet Southern belle. She is beautiful, sweet, and quick to give a charming smile and “thank you.” She LOVES her puppy, Memphis. When I first met with her and her sweet mom in my studio, she told me that when Jantzen proposed, he gave her tickets to the Oprah Show! She has always wanted to be at an Oprah show live (it was on her “bucket list”), and since this was her last season, her sweet fiancé made it happen. Here’s the kicker : she attended Oprah’s show called, “A Fairytale Wedding.” The audience was filled with hand-picked brides from all over the country, and each of them left with a free honeymoon and a Vera Wang dress!
Jantzen, as you already know from the above paragraph, is in love with Natalie. He is so sweet to her; it is obvious he truly respects her. The beautiful home pictured below belonged to his grandfather, and now it belongs to his entire family. His mom grew up in this house and on this farm, with her 26 brothers and sisters. Nope, that is not a typo! She really did have twenty-six brothers and sisters!! The Duggars have nothing on that family. Jantzen’s grandfather, along with many of his uncles had a passion for aviation. They flew planes all the time, and Jantzen too has his aviation license. There is even a runway in the front yard of this beautiful home!
Since I loved this session so much, I’ve decided to break it up into two parts. Enjoy!
I loved this little silo on their property!
Meet Memphis – their favorite little pup. He was so cute and hilarious!
