I met Margaret and Jonathan at Joyner Park for their maternity session in mid-July… we tried to beat the heat by starting really early, but it was so hot outside! They were definitely troopers as we walked the park with their two pups to find the best locations.

Margaret and I went to high school together, but it had been years (maybe almost 10?!) since we’d seen each other. We had a good time just catching up and chatting about family and friends we’ve kept in touch with. We both agreed (and I’m pretty sure we all feel this way) that time has moved entirely too fast. It’s crazy but really cool to see people I went to high school with starting families and entering a new phase of life.

I’ll see them again in no time to photograph their little one’s newborn session, and I’m so excited! Thankful to be able to capture this time for this sweet couple!
