When I arrived at Madison’s childhood home in Goldsboro, NC, she greeted me in her gorgeous wedding gown at the front door and immediately she had tears in her eyes. “I just can’t believe I’m having my bridal session done in our home today. It feels too good to be true” she said. And of course I started crying too. What a special afternoon it was for Madison and her mom as we took her bridal portraits around their beautiful home. The light was gorgeous and the greenery at their home made for the perfect backdrop.
Madison and I have become sweet friends during her engagement, and I’m so thankful the time that we’ve spent together getting coffee and emailing each other encouraging things during times that I have been hard. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know more about my clients than just their wedding day plans. I’m so excited for the life that Madison and Spencer and going to have together, and I’m hoping to get together again with them soon in one of our favorite places, Pine Knoll Shores!
