I had the best time with these high school sweethearts at JC Raulston Arboretum. There is just something special about couples who have been together since high school. There is this obvious sense of comfortability and understanding of who each other are, that makes my job so easy. Through all the years of dating, they have experienced many changes in life – good and bad, all while remaining faithful and loyal to each other. What a solid foundation for a beautiful marriage they will soon have!
Funny story, I first met Ian when he was a groomsman at Lindsey and Anthony’s wedding that I did earlier this year. Being a good friend and groomsman, Ian caught the garter. We had heard him talking about his fiancé earlier in the day, so I knew he was engaged, and I laughed thinking about her, while he put on quite the show when asked to put the garter on the girl’s leg who caught the bouquet. Never did I imagine that months later, I would be becoming their wedding photographer!
Congratulations Lauren and Ian! I can’t wait for your Highgrove wedding next year!
