Lauren and Ben are one of those couples that I instantly feel connected with. They are so easy to talk to, easy to laugh with, easy to photograph. They feel like old friends that I’ve known for a long time, even though we’ve just met. They are down to earth, warm, and not afraid to laugh and have fun together.
They love each other. I know that sounds simple, but it’s true: their love for one another is so straight forward. There’s no hiding it, there’s no faking it… it’s the most real, tangible thing about their relationship. They care about the way they speak to one another, they are kind, and even in the smallest gestures they put the other person first.
At the end of their session together, Lauren said they were on their way to visit her mom to enjoy her delicious homemade spaghetti dinner. Lauren’s eyes lit up talking about it, and I instantly got a vision of Lauren and Ben years from now, settled in their own home and marriage and life, making that same homemade spaghetti dinner for their family. After spending just an hour with them, I can tell that even though their careers are important to them, a life together is more important to them. I love these two and seriously cannot wait for their wedding!
