Every person that I met at Laura and Eric’s wedding said to me, “Oh you’re the girl who was stuck on a boat with them for several hours” and every time the three of us would look at each other and just laugh. Because, yes, in fact during Laura and Eric’s engagement session we got to know each other really well over what started out as a fun boat ride and turned into a long evening of flashlights and praying we didn’t have to call the coast guard. Needless to say, after that night this couple holds a special place in my heart. Laura and I have so much in common and I truly felt like I was talking to one of my best friends every time we got to chat. Eric is so kind; he adores Laura and is one of those people that you hope your kid grows up to be like.
With Laura’s incredible taste and talent as an interior designer I knew their details were going to be so beautiful and elegant just like Laura. Add in a few ECU pirate details (GO PIRATES) and it made for a perfect wedding! Laura and Eric’s wedding day came along with a few raindrops but these two were troopers and braved the off-and-on rain to make sure we were able to capture all of the magic in their wedding day.
Laura and Eric, I am so grateful for you two, and for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day. You are most definitely meant for each other and I wish you a lifetime of happiness as you begin your life together!
