When we first began planning the shoots for our promo film, I was thrilled to hear that I would be shooting a engaged couple. I love this time in any couple’s life and I knew that I wanted an engaged couple to model for me, to make it as genuine as possible. Meet Katie and George. They got engaged last Fall and are currently planning their Christ centered wedding for later this year. George is the same age as my brother and grew up down the road from us, and Katie and I were both Young Life leaders in Raleigh.

Katie and George are the most inclusive people, while at the same time lost in their own world. It sounds funny, I know, but it’s so true. You never feel left out with Katie and George, but the way that they look and laugh at each other makes it seem that there is no one else around. They are kind and selfless, hilarious and vulnerable, and the way that they publicly declare their imperfections as a couple in comparison with Jesus is beautiful.

Congratulations Katie and George! I am beyond excited to watch all the ways that the Lord uses and blesses your marriage. Thank you for allowing me to capture this sweet time in your life and for being the greatest models!
