Julie and Daniel first met in the emergency department at work, during Daniel’s second year of residency. Julie needed a consult for an orthopedic problem that one of her patients had and he had been on call that had lasted for 30 straight hours. She was sitting at her desk when he came back to talk with her about her patient, but it wasn’t until several months later that they started dating.
These two are kind and compassionate. The first time we tried to do their engagement session, we had to call it right when we arrived at Eno Park because there were huge black clouds rolling in that quickly brought in a bad summer storm. The storm was so bad that at 6:00pm, when it’s supposed to be the golden hour it looked like it was really 10:00 at night! I’ll never forget how patient and understanding they were while we were trying to make the right call standing in the parking lot. Because they are both doctors, their schedule is not like most and I wanted to be respectful of their time, all the while they were so apologetic about my schedule and the time that I had taken to drive out there. Even if you only spend a couple minutes with them, you will leave feeling filled and loved. Together they love the Lord, they love people and they are incredibly driven. They are supportive of one another’s dreams and passions, and they serve The Lord in everything that they do.
Congratulations Julie and Daniel! I am so honored that you chose me to capture your Fearrington wedding this weekend!
