Marriage is not about what you can get but about what you can give.
Jessie and Mike’s wedding day was one that will stay with me forever. Not only because Jessie is a dear friend of mine, but because this day felt so similar to my wedding day and I couldn’t help but thinking back on that unforgettable day. This wedding day was everything that my film photographer heart could only dream of – outdoor EVERYTHING in natural light! The weather was incredible and the surroundings at Oldfield Club were just breathtaking, and if it wasn’t for my strong roots here in Raleigh, after this wedding I would have packed everything up I own and moved straight down to Bluffton.
Their intimate first look nestled under the most beautiful oak tree, the meaningful ceremony right on the water, the recessional line where they got to hug each of their guests, and the unforgettable reception that took place under the romantic twinkle lights were just a few of my favorite moments of the day. Seeing the love and joy that Mike and Jessie experienced throughout each moment of this day brought me so much joy. The love that they have for each other is deeply rooted and their love for The Lord is at the center of it all. Congratulations you two! It’s an honor to call you friends, and I’m so excited to visit you in Charleston and see how The Lord uses your marriage for His glory!
Huge thank you to The Carolina’s Magazine for featuring this wedding celebration in their latest issue which can be found on stands today!
