Jamie and Wes’s little day-in-the-life-type session was probably one of my favorites of all time!
They’ve lived in their tiny cottage in downtown Apex since they were married, and wanted to commemorate their time in that home before moving on to a new home this summer. It didn’t take me long to realize that that sweet little house is just jam-packed with so many sweet memories of them together. I know from personal experience, there’s something so bittersweet about leaving that first home when you’ve spent those first sweet years of marriage there.
Jamie created a pretty awesome agenda for us, full of things that they love to do together: bike rides, coffee in bed, playing with their pups, and eating fresh strawberries. All of her different ideas made for such a fun and dynamic session, and I love that she picked them because they mean something to them!
Major bonus for me: Jamie sent me home with a basket FULL of freshly picked strawberries! Like a whole huge basket, guys. When I pulled in my driveway that evening with red strawberry juice stains all over my face and a car full of strawberry caps, I was so, so happy. Strawberries are easily the way to my heart.
Jamie and Wes, thank you guys for celebrating the little things and for letting me be a part of capturing this sweet time before y’all move! Best of luck, and we hope to see you again soon!
