I’ll tell ya what… the anticipation that comes in shooting a newborn session for a family you’ve done other sessions for? It’s unreal. I was literally giddy driving to the Kelley’s house for their newborn session. I knew they were having a little girl, and I knew that I had worked with Amelia pretty extensively to make sure that each session before then (maternity and a baby shower) was what she hoped and dreamed it would be — and it all led up to Felicity’s session.
Highlight of the session: I kid you not, when we were doing her photos on the beanbag and backdrop, she pushed herself up, laid her body to the side, crawled forward a little bit, and almost rolled herself over. Oh my gosh! 10 days old. No joke. My jaw dropped to the floor. When I see her for her next session, I feel like she might be driving a car.
One thing is for sure – Amelia and Andrew – you guys are awesome and already such wonderful parents to your precious little girl! I can’t wait to see all three of you again soon!

That first photo of her smiling is precious! Love how cozy the session feels. Gorgeous!
