Oh these images make my heart skip a beat. The raindrop painted details, the bride’s stunning red hair and all the magnolia leaves take me out of North Carolina and into an English dream! This past October I had the privilege of attending the Lively Workshop at The Graylyn Estate; where I got to photogrpah under the direction of Perry Vaile. Photographing with Perry was such an incredible experience. Apart from working with the other talented photographers on the NRP team, I have never been surrounded by so many like minded creatives, and I highly recommend it! Getting to work along side other talented people, is motivating, inspiring, and all together encouraging.

While learning from and following along the direction of Perry, I got to capture the talents of Rebecca Rose Creative. I think there are few things in life I enjoy more than photographing Rebecca Rose Creative’s work. Their team is talented, passionate and winsome. Becca took the beauty of the Graylyn and made it into a dreamy English inspired wedding, and watching how she puts things together is astounding.

I can not say enough what an incredible experience The Lively Workshop was for me. It pushed me as a photographer to step outside of my comfort zone and believe in my own talents. It provided a platform for coming into my own style of photography and being proud and excited to do what I do!
