Anniversary sessions might be one of my favorite things, especially when it just so happens to be one of my very first friends in the wedding industry! Carrington and I met back in 2013 at a wedding when she had just begun working with Erin McLeans Events, and I was still training under Nancy to be a wedding photographer. We instantly clicked and have been friends ever since! Not only do we work so well together on wedding days and have made some seriously beautiful magic happen for brides and grooms all over the triangle, but we have come to know each other on a personal level. We have prayed for each other as our family’s have gone through trying times and have celebrated with each other as we have grown in our careers.
I am truly honored that Carrington and Justin chose me to document 5 years of marriage, and I am so thankful for time that we got to spend together. I love that they chose to do their session in Pinehurst, not because they have spent a ton of time there, but because they could see themselves one day retiring there. Justin could play as much golf as he wanted and I can just see Carrington sitting on their back porch sipping a glass of sweet tea or strolling the quaint downtown streets!
Here’s to 5 years of marriage, and many many more!
