I think I have officially decided day time weddings are my favorite. These two tied the knot at eleven in the morning, then enjoyed a delicious brunch before dancing the afternoon away! Every bit of their day was filled with so much light and joy. They had a small wedding, allowing them to fully enjoy the time spent with their guests and truly get to take in every part of their wedding day. Caitlin and Joe didn’t miss a beat when it came to their wedding. They honored Caitlin’s heritage by having a traditional Chinese Lion dance, their family member’s made up their bridal party (her sweet mama was her matron of honor, and his dad was the best man!), and Caitlin wore some of the most beautiful family heirlooms as her wedding day accessories.
I often think about how quick a wedding day flies by, and while to some extent I am sure Caitlin and Joe felt like the day was a whirlwind, I truly believe with the intentionality of their beautiful day they will remember more of the little details than most people do. Years from now they will be able to tell their kids all about each significant person at their wedding and the role they played in their life.
Caitlin and Joe, it was such a joy to capture your beautiful wedding day, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
