I looked forward to shooting this wedding the entire year, and it did NOT disappoint!
Brooke and Ryan are high school sweet hearts, and their wedding day was something their friends and family have been looking forward to for quite some time! They’ve known each other for years, and they truly are best friends. But you know how some couples can kind of get lazy with their relationship when they’ve been together for so long? That’s not Brooke and Ryan. No – they are incredibly intentional, respectful, and loving, even after all these years.
They have a kind of maturity about them that I rarely see in couples their age, the kind of maturity that is rooted in a deep faith in the Lord, a kind of old love that tells me… they are going to make it. Not only make it, but they are going to have one of those marriages that every one else secretly loves and admires. (I already love and admire their marriage!)
Ryan is this strong, steady, responsible young man who loves the Lord and is a hard worker. I loved seeing a side of him at his wedding that I hadn’t seen before… he loves to have FUN! And Brooke is his perfect compliment. She’s the epitome of grace, she effortlessly carries joy in her demeanor and smile because it’s just part of who she is. I have so much admiration for her! But she too had the best time on the dance floor, laughing and having fun, and in my opinion… couples who know how to have fun together are the ones who have what it takes.
Brooke and Ryan, I’m so grateful for the opportunity I had to capture your gorgeous wedding. And even more so, I’m grateful to call you and your family our friends! Congratulations on the most beautiful, memorable wedding day!
