Blair and Michael were married in Beaufort, NC which happens to be a special place for both of them and their families. With their guests traveling from near and far, they wanted them to experience a weekend filled with sweet celebration on the coast. This wedding was full of so much love and joy, and it was a special one for me to photograph because Blair’s family is one of our closest family friends. Our dads were in the same fraternity in college and we grew up just down the road from each other! It almost felt as if I were photographing a close family member, which made this wedding so much fun for me.
After months of planning the wedding, Blair and Michael were so ready to be with each other and party the night away with all of their guests. I will never forget moments before Blair and Michael were about to open gifts back to back, Michael looked at me and said “Are you sure I can’t turn around and see her? I love her so much and I’m just so ready to see her.” I kindly told him that he could not turn around and see her, but the wait will be worth it when he sees her walking down the aisle toward him, and I think it was definitely was!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michael Baker, junior! Thank you for choosing me to photograph your joyful wedding day!
