I have spent many summers in Beaufort, NC, and since I became a wedding photographer, I have been anxious to do a wedding on it’s beautiful coast. From the gorgeous purple wisteria to the historic church that Alex and Anne were married in, I almost felt as if we were spending the day in Charleston. After their sweet ceremony, the guests were invited to walk down the street to their reception. Erin McLean and her team did an amazing job transforming the Beaufort Historic Site into a lovely reception complete with a gorgeous tent filled with beautiful greenery and a chandelier, giving it that pop of elegance!
My favorite moment of the day was when Anne showed me the gift that Alex gave her; a gorgeous drop diamond necklace. To match, Anne’s elegant and classic taste, Alex asked each of their mothers if they had any family stones to contribute to her wedding gift. He designed the necklace himself and I know it will be an heirloom piece for their family.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lassiter!
