Nancy photographed Stephanie and Jarrod’s Wedding back in 2010, so of course we were thrilled when they reached out to have me photograph their sweet little newborn session 5 years later.

When I arrived at the their newborn session, Stephanie answered the door and my face lit up because I realized I knew her from high school and just hadn’t made the connection with her new (to me) last name, despite Nancy having done their wedding years before. I enjoyed catching up with she and her husband Jarrod while I photographed their precious baby boy Waylon. He was born a few weeks early, so talk about itty bitty and super precious! Oh my goodness!

Waylon was 14 days old for his session, and slept like a champ the entire time! There’s nothing that I love more in photography than a sleepy baby who you can mold like a little ball of clay – and that’s exactly what he was.

Congratulations Stephanie and Jarrod on your tiny little bundle of joy!
