The moment I stepped onto the beautiful mountain estate where this wedding celebration was held, my breath was taken away. I wish I could take you by the hand right now and lead you through the secret passage ways that led from one garden to another, to show you the historic home nestled on the side of the mountain, to let you feel the cool summer air that can only be felt in the mountains, to let you listen to the rumblings of thunder that never brought the rain (thanks to the buried bourbon!), to lead you to the ceremony tent that perfectly fit inside a garden walled with trees, to walk you around the wrap around porch that held the laughter and conversations of so many guests that day. This wedding was one of the most uniquely beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing.
To add to that, Taylor and Chris are the most down to earth, devoted couple you’ll ever meet. High school sweethearts have a familiarity that already gives you the feeling that their married in some ways, because they know each other so well and have been together so long. This familiarity in Taylor and Christian only made things more exciting on their wedding day, because they, as very best friends, had looked forward to it for so long. This day sealed the many days of their lives they had already spent together, as they vowed to continue to live their lives together loving one another forever. They have an old love with a new, fresh excitement. You can feel it in these sweet images! Congratulations, Taylor and Christopher! It was a joy to capture your beautiful day!

Nancy! This is a stunning wedding. The photo of the girls engaged in prayer around the bride is my favorite. What a moving image. Xoxo
