Shelton is one of my dearest friends. She was my Bible study leader, College Life leader, and neighbor in college! We have walked through countless seasons together, celebrated so many fun moments, and prayed through some difficult times. I remember very clearly when she first started bringing Keegan’s name up; he was a Young Life leader in Georgia and they had met at an event and instantly clicked. We would take walks around the small town of Greenville, NC and talk about how she was already smitten with this guy who she hadn’t known for all too long. I had yet to meet Keegan, but if he was anywhere close to how she described him, I knew he was a keeper.

As time went on, and I got to know Keegan better, I noticed that these two were in it for the long haul. Keegan is kind, gentle, PATIENT, funny, and adores Shelton. He perfectly completes her spunky, feisty, and outgoing personality. But Keegan was still in Georgia, and Shelton was still in Greenville. But the Lord’s plans are far better than our own, and He made a way for Shelton to be in Georgia too and truly living out His calling on her life. At this point, I knew, all bets are off and I was just waiting for the ring! Then one evening I get a text from Shelton with a picture of she and Keegan and a RING. I was ecstatic and so pumped for them to enjoy this season of life. Then to put the icing on the cake, she asked me if I would photograph her wedding. Easy YES.

So here we are, my sweet sweet friend, and her even sweeter fiance taking their ENGAGEMENT pictures! Shelton and Keegan, it is an honor to celebrate you two in this way. I am so honored to be your photographer and friend; and I can’t wait for September 9th!
