Sarah and Mitch are getting married at the Greenbrier, which just so happened to be on my bucket list of wedding venues to photograph! So when they wanted to walk around and do a little preview for their engagement session I was so pumped. I drove to West Virginia and slowly as I was driving the wind started picking up, and the weather just kept changing. My phone was telling me the skies were about to open up, but I was seeing sunshine. So we decided if we could go ahead and get started we would beat this storm. We began at the Greenbrier, and I got to see and hear all about the details for their weddings, and a little bit about why this place means so much to them. I’ll tell you more about that when we blog their wedding! As we walked and talked I also got to know Sarah and Mitch more, and they were such a joy to be around. They are relaxed with each other and really listened to each other as they each talked. I could see how much they truly just enjoy being together. After we finished up at the Green Brier we headed over to Sarah’s family home to photograph a little in their back yard with their beautiful view, I also got to meet Sarah’s parents which I love, because now their wedding day is going to feel so familiar and relaxed!
Sarah and Mitch I can’t wait for your wedding in May! I already know it is going to be so beautiful and getting to know you both this season has been such a joy!
