If I had to choose an image that would describe me as a photographer, the above image would be it. The rich colors of film, the precious moment in which Robin is realizing that her husband is washing her feet, and the legacy that this image will create and be passed down through generations of their family. This is why I am a photographer. This is my heart.
Robin and Jon’s wedding day was one that I will truly never forget, not only because Robin is near and dear to our NRP family (she was Nancy’s first ever intern), but because there was no doubt that Jesus’ name was lifted high and the Holy Spirit was ever so present in the whole day. I love Robin and Jon’s love story (read more here) and the way that Rebecca Rose Events incorporated their long distance relationship all while introducing their guests to the South into the design elements of their wedding. I love the rich color tones in the palette that they chose – calming blues and olive tones with pops of burgundy and gold. All of these color were inspired by heirloom treasures!
Robin and Jon, thank you for inspiring me to love deeper, take more risks, and pursue the things that the Lord has put on my heart for his glory! I can’t wait to see all the Lord is going to do through your marriage.
