Robin and Jon truly have some of the kindest heart and their love for the Lord is absolutely radiant. For those of you who have been long time blog readers, you may notice Robin, as she was Nancy’s intern in 2011. I feel like I have known Robin since I started working for Nancy Ray Photography, although I had never met her. From the moment that I Skyped with Robin and Jon, because they live in England (Yes, Jon is British and his accent is to die for!), I have been looking forward to their film engagement session.

The two met when Jon was visiting friends in Georgia. They were in the same coffee shop with mutual friends, and after some conversations, Robin and her friends invited him to go kayaking with them. It turned out to be just Jon and Robin kayaking, where they spent 4 hours together mostly just floating and talking, so it seemed fitting to do part of their engagement session on a small lake in Raleigh.

Congratulations Robin and Jon! I am over the moon excited for your “2 parts joy + 2 parts anticipation + 1 part southern culture + 1 part English banter” wedding day!
