Happy October, friends! This month is busy busy. I’ll be photographing 2 beautiful weddings that are both out of town, and speaking in Atlanta at the Pursuit Conference with Will. Not to mention our team is booked solid with weddings, sessions, and mini-sessions! I’ll also be going back to work full time-ish, and Will is training for a new job! I think I’ll just borrow last month’s mantra of “one day at a time” for this month, too.

With that said, October is one of my favorite months. If I don’t set goals that are fun, that give me life, that inspire me to stop and enjoy… then I simply won’t. It’ll be November before I know it, and I will have missed the rich beautiful changing of the leaves and the air. So this month’s goals involve me doing things that fuel me, that help me slow down and enjoy my favorite season.

October Goals

Finish The Blessed Life, and read Take the Stairs
Eat corn at the NC State Fair
Do 1 Periscope per week
Go walking / running 3x week & watch the leaves change on the greenway
Carve pumpkins with friends
Have a Sabbath weekend at home doing nothing (we’ve been traveling so much!)
Decorate for Fall
Treat myself to a Pumpkin Spice Latte every time I travel
Bake White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins
Dress Milly up as a cow

I really appreciate that your goals are helping you to savor this season because I can definitely relate to it being a busy time of year! October is one of my favorite months too and I want to make sure I am intentional about enjoying each day and not letting it slip by :)

Do you have a recipe for the White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffings!? That sounds amazing!

Love these goals! My favorite is the travel treat — a great idea to counteract any potential Milly-related or otherwise travel snafus! :) Sounds like it will be an amazing month.
