Nicole and Matthew had the sweetest wedding. A beautiful Catholic ceremony followed by a dreamy outdoor reception in Winston-Salem, we could have not asked for better light or better weather! I adored Nicole’s taste – so “J Crew classy,” yet so personal! The guys in particular were styling in their fun ties and socks, and they looked quite dapper in their suits. The ladies lovely navy & white bridesmaids dresses were beautiful, and Nicole’s pearls were the sweetest, simplest touch of elegance. If I may be this honest – Nicole’s dress was honestly one of my favorites I’ve ever photographed. Truly, it was breathtaking. The fabric itself was a beautiful silk that felt light and satiny at the same time. The lace was the perfect touch of elegance. I adored her dress! Honestly, it will stay one of my favorite dresses of all time!

While their ceremony was heartfelt and so meaningful, their reception was full of fun and celebration! Brookberry Farm was one of the most fascinating, beautiful venues for a reception. A private neighborhood club, they only hold events for those who own homes in the neighborhood. Since this is where Nicole’s parents live, it was the perfect setting for their celebration. A tall barn, a clubhouse, and outdoor covered fireplaces and seating areas surrounded a courtyard in the middle. Of course there was dancing, and I must say I think the most impressive dancer was Nicole’s Dad! It was so fun, and The Dickens Band certainly kept the dance floor full. Leigh was a joy to work with, and she certainly did a fabulous job pulling every detail together. Of all the beautiful details, Will and I personally loved the s’more bar. Graham Crackers, Marshmallows, and a variety of chocolates and candy bars to choose from… we definitely had a s’more before heading home!

Congratulations, Nicole and Matthew on such a beautiful wedding celebration. We loved sharing this day with you!
