This couple. Y’all. I can’t even tell you how much I love them. Firstly you should know that I have known Molly since middle school – yes middle school – and we have some pretty amazing and embarrassing pictures/journals/videos that go wayyy back. I remember my goofy little middle school self, sleeping over at her house, laughing until 3am. I remember having a yard sale at her house for our missions trip to Costa Rica, and experiencing that trip together was something I’ll never forget. I remember passing notes in class (we didn’t have texting back then!), telling secrets, and bringing Molly to our lake house… which ended up being only miles away from where Scott was growing up. There are so many memories with this sweet friend! She is fun and lovely, inside and out. I am so grateful to have reconnected with her after all these years.
I really got to know Scott when he and Molly both attended our FPU class at church early this year, and I could not have handpicked anyone better for Molly. He is literally perfect for her! He knows how to make her laugh, he knows how to lead her, and he truly has a a heart of gold. He comes from the small town of Littleton, NC, which is right near Lake Gaston. I was so excited to hear that, since I love that area and grew up vacationing there. When we were brainstorming about their engagement session, it was the perfect fit! Scott grew up working in his parent’s hardware store in downtown Littleton, as well as Camp Willow Run, which is a beautiful camp property right on the lake. We had so much fun exploring all these sweet familiar places together, and they ended up being the perfect setting for their session.
Scott & Molly, I cannot wait until your big day!
