I had been anticipating this day for quite some time. Meghan and Lee are both two of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. Their wedding was the first of my 2018 wedding season and I was thrilled to kick it off with these two. From the moment I met Meghan we hit it off. We had similarities in everything from beliefs, style, home decor and even personalities! Lee was just as wonderful and the perfect compliment. He is one of the most patient and loving guys I have ever met, especially when talking with his three little guys. Now, y’all, let’s talk about the handsome little fellas you will see in these pictures. Graham, Nelson and William are too cute for words and each so spunky in their own way. They accompanied Meghan and Lee on their engagement session, so when it came time for the wedding, we felt like old friends. In fact, when I arrived on the wedding day, Graham, the oldest immediately saw me and said “Hey I know you! I am so excited you’re here today too!” then proceeded to teach me his new dance moves he learned for the wedding.
Above all of these wonderful things I could say about the new Chalk family, I want you to know this. Meghan and Lee love the Lord and their people so much. On their wedding day, you could tell something was different about who they were as a couple because of the way they love all of those around them. As a wedding photographer I always count it as one of my greatest honors to get to serve my clients on their wedding day, but these two went above and beyond to serve me and others through out their whole season of engagement and their wedding.
I am forever changed after having Meghan, Lee, Graham, Nelson and William as my clients. This family is going to do BIG things and I can’t wait to see their wonderful life together unfold! Thank you Meghan and Lee for allowing me to capture your wedding day, y’all are such a gift to me!
