With great joy, I am excited to introduce you to the newest member of our NRP Team, Annie Brown! She has been working with us in the studio for the past 4 weeks, and already assisted at 3 weddings. We absolutely love this girl – her patience with tedious tasks, her laugh and our shared love for so many wonderful things. We are grateful to have her with us this Spring, and are excited for you to get to know her as well! Take it away Annie!
Where are you from?
Johnson City, TN (like in the song Wagon Wheel)
What do you love about photography?
This quality time loving gal, really cherishes that one-on-one time I get with folks as I photograph them, and I especially love having the platform to serve and tell the ladies I photograph how beautiful they are over and over! Who gets to do that! It may be over said, but others’ photography is also just incredibly inspiring to me. Take the Nancy Ray Team for example- all the gorgeous light and emotional images make me want to get married all over again!
What are you passionate about?
Jesus. My world was completely rocked 17 years ago when I first understood the love that my God has for me and the depth from which he saved me! (Enter praise hands emoji here!)
What is your current favorite book?
I don’t get as much time to read as I would like, but I recently read Jen Hatmaker’s book, For the Love, and absolutely loved it. It’s a mix between funny and real with loads of both practical motherhood and faith advice. Her version of Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes will no doubt have you belly laughing!
What is your favorite food?
What is something that no one knows about you?
I don’t know about NO one knowing, but a unique thing about me is that although I vowed to my mom that I would never leave my hometown, 2 months after Brad and I got married we moved to Uganda and traveled to 10 other countries in our first year of marriage!
Favorite thing to do on a beautiful day?
Anything outside. Period. Walking, running, taking my daughter to a park, driving to the beach, even mowing the grass.
What are you excited about in the next 12 months?
We are hoping to grow our little family through international adoption, so although it is very unlikely that it will happen in the next 12 months, we have started the process and will hopefully be deep into it over the next year or so!
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee for sure!
What are you grateful for right now?
I am always grateful for my husband, but I am especially grateful for him right now, as he is being so supportive and helpful making this internship possible.
