Back in June of this year, I had the privilege of taking my team to Charlottesville, VA to learn from Eric and Lora Kelly during a 2 day  mentorship. During that time we were like sponges – soaking in all that he had to teach us about film, photography and business. We sat in their coffee shop for hours, talking about photography and light and film. We went outside and had our team photos taken, then talked more about the photography business over breakfast. To end our time of mentorship, some of Eric and Lora’s sweet friends modeled for my very own shoot in all film. We had an amazing time!

Michael and Mallory were perfect, as was the gorgeous farm setting. Everything about these film images make me incredibly happy. Lora did Mallory’s hair and makeup, which of course was stunning! And Mallory herself is a gifted Event Designer, so besides being naturally beautiful, she has a great eye for design and style. (Hence their charming outfits & style.)

Enjoy my first session since college that I shot entirely in film! And yes, it’s true – beginning in 2014 I’ll be a film photographer.

Many thanks to Eric, Lora, Michael and Mallory for making this session so beautiful. So grateful to now call you friends!
