I’ve never met such a kindhearted, generous, and thoughtful couple. There’s no better way of saying it that simply stating: Jean and Kevin know how to live life. They embrace every season of life and live it to the fullest. And not only that, they have a photo album of every year the’ve been together, documenting every occasion, holiday, vacation, and special moment shared together. They really inspire me to do the same – to take the time to document what is most important. Isn’t that what life is all about?
On the day of their engagement session, I woke up only to begin my normal routine : emailing, editing, burning dvd’s, walking Winston, and blogging. I randomly wanted some peanut butter m&m’s (the best!), so I decided to post that random little thought on twitter. I charged my equipment, packed it up, and headed out to meet this awesome couple for their engagement shoot. And what do they have for me when I arrive? A bag of peanut butter m&ms. I was blown away! I know, it’s just a bag of peanut butter m&m’s, but it’s so much more than that. They were so thoughtful to go out of their way to get that for me, to pay attention to me. They’re awesome.
We began our session at La Coquette – an amazing French Bistro in North Hills with a beautiful setting! Since Kevin proposed in France, it was only appropriate to incorporate a French theme into their session!
Then we headed to the festive North Carolina State Fair to enjoy their favorite fall tradition! They love the fair and go every year together. It was so much fun walking around and enjoying all the crazy sights and delicious smells. Even when it began to sprinkle – they were troopers! They didn’t mind one bit. I personally think it made the photos even more fun!You might be wondering how in the world they are sitting in the moving tunnel! Well lucky for us, the tunnel had stopped due to the rain. Love the way this one turned out :
