This glorious day. What a day! Kasey is an incredible photographer, graphic designer and calligrapher. She is also a past NRP intern, so I knew that this day was going to be unforgettable. Having worked weddings with us in the past, she knew what to expect and how to plan her wedding day with photography as one of the highest priorities. If you know anything about Kasey’s design style, you know that she LOVES neutrals and greenery. With the help of Rebecca Rose Events, they brought Kasey’s vision to life with beautiful florals and small Southern accents throughout. Rose Hill Plantation was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. With rolling farm hills, black and white plantation house and small lake (with swans!), it seemed like everywhere we turned there was another opportunity for beautiful pictures.
There are so many precious moments from this day that I will never forget:
– Kasey’s first look with her Dad
– The amazing hour of styling that I had with Becca and all of their amazing, thoughtful details
– The many prayers that were voiced throughout the day
– Zach’s face when he saw Kasey walk down the aisle
– The sun that perfectly peaked out after the ceremony during our portrait time
– The dance floor that was packed the entire night
– Kasey and Zach riding off with sparklers in the back of his truck
Kasey and Zach’s love of The Lord was so evident throughout the whole day. During their ceremony, they chose to wash each other’s feet as one of the first acts of marriage and it was a beautiful commitment to one another. “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” John 13:14-17
Your love is contagious. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Smith! We are so honored to have this wedding featured in the most recent issue of The Carolinas Magazine! Click here to see where you can purchase the magazine!
