I was ALL about Jessica and Dan’s maternity session when I found out they have a German Shorthaired Pointer (extremely similar to the Weimaraner, which I’m obviously partial too)! Unfortunately they weren’t able to bring the big guy, but having that in common with them made their session a lot of fun.
Sometimes Robert accompanies me to sessions, and when he does he usually brings our Weim Dozer on a leash to get some exercise. Sometimes my families and couples don’t even know that they’re there because they do their own thing and don’t want to intrude, but I figured I’d check with Jessica in case they wanted to meet him since we had already emailed back and forth about our love for our dogs!
I’m proud to say that Dozer had his big boy pants on and was on his best behavior! And Jessica and Dan were so fun and easy to talk to that the four of us ended up sticking together for the session, which made the entire time feel more like a walk on a greenway trail with friends than “work”. I have pictures to prove that I did actually work, too (ha)!
Jessica and Dan – we’re excited for you guys to welcome your little one in just a couple of months! Thank you not only for letting me capture this special time for you, but also for making my job such a fun one!
