Where do I even begin with this wedding. Jess and Kyle’s wedding was incredibly special for so many reasons. For starters, Jess, the beautiful bride, is Will’s younger sister! So Will, Nancy and Little Milly were all in the wedding, making it a fun NRP event to capture. Nancy and I tag teamed for Jess and Kyle’s wedding; with Nancy being Jess’ sister in law and one of her best friends, Nancy captured their engagement and rehearsal dinner moments. Allowing me to capture their beautiful water front wedding.
These two radiate Jesus. At any moment during the ceremony you could look around the room and you wouldn’t see a dry eye. Jess and Kyle were fixed on Jesus and glorifying Him through worship and their covenant. The words that were spoken over them rang true in every aspect of their day. They live a life that is evident of Christ’s faithfulness and His goodness. And having the honor of capturing that sort of infectious love not only for each other, but for their creator was unlike anything else. I am eternally grateful to have had the opportunity.
After sharing in a beautiful ceremony we walked from the little church in Beaufort over to the water front, which also happened to be Jess’ granddaddy’s home, to celebrate their new marriage. Their friends and family shared all the beautiful things Jess and Kyle mean to them and they danced like there was no tomorrow. Then the best part of the night came. In my time of being a wedding photographer I think this is the coolest exit I have every gotten to photograph. These two rode off in the sunset on a motorcycle. The light was just right, all their friends and family were there, and it was SO them.
Jess and Kyle, thank you for trusting me to capture this day for y’all! I am so grateful to know you both!
