Jamie Hopkins Merrimon Wynne Film Bridal Session

I was fully expecting to cry when I saw Jamie for the first time. She was one of our first interns, and she has become so close to our team over the years. (You can’t help but become close to someone who will drive 10 hours in the car with you in one day to shoot a bridal session in Charleston!) When she called me about shooting her wedding, I was so thrilled.

When I saw Jamie in her dress, I couldn’t stop smiling! She was stunning, and I had this moment where I just was so incredibly happy. I was overcome with pure joy, because there was Jamie, in her wedding dress, preparing to meet the boy she talked about all throughout her internship.

She was beautiful, joyful, and happy. This entire session will go down in history as one of my favorite bridal sessions of all time. Her mama was there, her soon to be mother in law was there (both couldn’t stop crying), the weather was delightful, and Merrimon Wynne couldn’t have been more beautiful.

To be honest, it was one of those surreal moments for me. “Do I really get to do this as a job?” It was such a dream and such an honor to capture this sweet bridal session for one of the sweetest brides and friends.

Jamie, you were stunning. And although I didn’t think it was possible, you were more beautiful on your wedding day than you were at this session. Scott is one lucky guy to have you!
