Graham’s newborn session will forever go down in history as the most difficult to schedule session ever. I say that laughing, and I know Whitney laughs at this, too.
Without going into detail, these are a few things that we learned while trying to get Graham’s session on the schedule: 1. Pregnancy brain is bad. Pregnancy brain with twins? THE WORST. 2. Babies come when they want to come; we’re all on their schedules. It’s good to be flexible. 3. Note to self: check address BEFORE committing to travel on a certain day. 4. At the end of the day… things have a way of working out. We were able to do Graham’s newborn session on a beautiful afternoon on his actual due date, and it was fantastic.
Whitney greeted me with a huge hug, and I just felt like I already knew her. In case you missed it, Nancy has photographed quite a bit for she and Nick, and they have quite a story. It started with Whitney and Nick’s engagement session, Whit’s bridal session, their wedding day, and their anniversary session. Most recently, Nancy has been able to photograph their Maternity Session. Check out that last post if you want to read a powerful story about one amazing little miracle.
Their newborn session was easy, comfortable, super laid back. I loved every minute of spending time with them in their home, getting to know them, and photographing their beautiful family!
Whitney, Nick, and Graham – know that all of NRP is thrilled to know you and to be the ones to capture these amazing milestones in your lives!
