I feel like I can't write this post without tearing up a little.  I have only known Brooke for a little over a year, but in that short amount of time I have formed a really special relationship with her.  She is in our youth group at church, so of course we have made some great memories together!  Lock-in, summer camp, prayer team, and seeing each other at least once a week every week for the past year have allowed us to really get to know each other.  However, what I've seen in Brooke is not just a girl who shows up at church. She gives so much more. Brooke has always been genuine and honest whenever I've spoken with her.  She is real with me and those around her, and I think that's what everyone loves about her.  She is a hard worker, a sister, a daughter, and a lover of Jesus.  And what I love most about her is that she worships hard and prays hard.  This girl is beautiful inside and out, and I am so proud of her.

Did I mention her crazy awesome style?  We started out with this Urban look - and she rocked it.

I think this hat is my favorite!  It makes me so excited that summer is right around the corner - so fun and free.

For the last series of photos, Brooke talked to me about what she really wanted to capture - her heart for dance.  She loves dancing, and she is so graceful.

This last image is my favorite, because anyone who knows Brooke know that this picture perfectly captures who she is.  Beautiful, joyful, fun, and spirited.  Brooke, I love you.  Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this time in your life.  I'm so thankful you are my friend and I pray you never lose your passion for life and Jesus!  I tried, but I didn't make it to the end of this post without tears.  You are a beautiful woman, and I'm so proud of you!

I met Jennifer in downtown Wake Forest, and it was the most perfect fall morning.  Cool and breezy, the sun peeking through the trees & buildings, it was just lovely.  Jennifer was lovely.  She is so sweet, inside and out.  Her style was fun and whimsical, and our shared love for Anthropologie inspired many of these photos.

I spotted this little hodge podge table in the back of an ice cream shop, and I knew we just had to use it!  Love the setting here...

michael is a rockstar.  he has a passion for music & playing his guitar, and he is just a fun guy to be around. he made me laugh a lot during this session!  i get to see him every week because he's in our youth group at church, and it has been so great getting to know him.  the best thing about him is his heart - he is a guy who loves jesus.

we had his session around his yard, in his neighborhood, and then we ventured down to a lake close by.

the lake near his house had his really big tree right by the water. it was the perfect background for these next few...

mike is really hardcore about airsoft.  (apparently it's like paintball, but more painful and not messy.) i was so excited when he said he wanted to bring out his airsoft gear for a few shots...

i always wanted curly hair. my hair is pretty much straight as straight can be, and growing up, i was always jealous of my friends who had beautiful curly hair. lydia has this full, gorgeous hair full of curls; dark eyes, and a gorgeous smile.  i think it's safe to say that i would LOVE to have lydia's hair!  when we met at the pavilion to take her senior photos, everything turned out perfectly!

lydia is full of natural beauty.  it's really effortless - the way she smiles and interacts with people.  i can tell that it's not just an outward beauty, but her beauty comes from within.

bobby is awesome for so many reasons.  1. he loves music 2. he loves to longboard 3. he is my neighbor 4. he goes to my church 5. he has longer hair than i do 6. he likes bright colors 7. he loves jesus 8. he likes to play drums in the woods 9. he is going to appstate  10. he's a SENIOR!

on a more serious note, i know bobby is going to do awesome things with his life.  he is so gifted, so easygoing, so fun to be around.  thanks to an awesome neighbor for allowing me to capture this time in your life!
