These photographs warm my heart! Caroline and Aaron are dear friends, self-starters, entrepreneurs, dreamers, and... they found each other. Perfect for one another. So in love. They stayed with me and Will the weekend of Branches and Light, and we got to see them laugh, cozy up on the couch to watch a movie, cook together, and simply be together. They are a beautiful picture of newlyweds, and I love that I was able to capture this sweet season in their lives. We heard their dreams, their hopes, their plans for the future... and they are going to do big things with their lives! I'm so grateful to call them friends!

Did you see the photos Caroline took of us? Well, you should! Click here

Love. Love. LOVE!!! They truly are a cute couple. I caught Aaron after one of Caroline’s presentations whispering to her “I’m so proud of you” I wanted to cry because her face just lit up and smile from ear to ear. The look they gave each other made my heart happy. I love watching two people in love.

Happiest birthday to my big brother, Johnny! I love you so much and I'm proud to be your sister.

And to say I love your crazy family is quite the understatement. :]

Oh this sweet baby! I have had the privilege of capturing Grace growing in her mommy's belly, I've captured her making her beautiful debut into this world, [to get the behind-the-scenes scoop and read about it from her mom's perspective, click here,] and we had fun during a newborn session, too. Now you might find me continuing to document this sweet one as she grows to be exactly who she's meant to be : herself. The beautiful, unique, funny and sweet Grace Austin Isaacson.

These sweet photos make my heart just melt. My newest niece, Haven Joy, was born December 15, 2011. When visiting Nashville over New Years, I had some time to take a few newborn photos of sweet Haven. The soft, wrinkly skin, those big eyes looking back at me - be still my heart! I can't wait to watch her little personality grow and grow.

And of course, we attempted the Blanton family photo with 5 kids: Ages 3 and under. It was hilarious, as usual. Oh how I love this family.

This post bring back so many wonderful memories of capturing my sweet little niece making her debut! What a crazy time it was.  Here is a little schedule of what it was like for me :

Tuesday the 13th:
5:00pm - I completed my last session of 2011

Wednesday the 14th :
12:30pm - Received a call from my Sister saying her water just broke
1:00pm - Booked the next flight to Nashville, began packing up all equipment / overnight bag / finishing work for the day
4:30pm - Flew to Nashville
7:00pm - Arrived at the hospital, and stayed the night. Active labor had not yet begun. Not the greatest night's sleep :]

Thursday the 15th:
8:00am -  Sissy was induced since it had been 24 hours from her water breaking, and still no active labor
12:30pm - Intense contractions begin
3:30pm - Epidural for Sissy. I go eat lunch and wait some more.
4:30pm - Naptime for mama!
7:40pm - Grandma Deedee arrives just in time....
7:45pm - Sissy is woken up from nap to be checked. Ready to have a baby!
8:00pm - Began pushing
8:07pm - HAVEN JOY BLANTON IS BORN!  (Yes, after only 7 minutes of pushing!)
9:00pm - Snuggle time with Haven
10:30pm - Drive to the Blanton home for some rest time

Friday, the 16th :
6:30am - Wake up with my nephews and niece! Best morning ever.
9:00am - Take big sister Harper to the hospital with Grandma Deedee
10:00am - Introduce Harper to Haven. Precious. Take lots of pictures and snuggle with Haven.
11:30am - Head back to the airport

Saturday, the 17th:
Shoot my last wedding of the season.

Yes, the timing couldn't have been more perfect. The Lord is so good to have allowed me to be there, supporting my sister and brother-in-law, and loving on my sweet littlest niece. It was priceless.

Here are some images from the next day, when the sisters meet. Harper's excitement cannot be contained! :

I can hardly even take that last photo of Harper's hands with Haven's. So precious! Welcome baby Haven!
