Katie was one of the most elegant brides I've ever worked with. She carries herself with grace and love, and that was particularly true of her on her wedding day this past Saturday. Her personality is so sweet - she loves on everyone she meets! One of my favorite moments from her wedding day was when she saw her two flower girls... each girl evoked such excited reactions from Katie!  She loved on those girls, and their age didn't matter. Everyone is important to Katie.

Christian (who is now Katie's husband), was so enamored with Katie! During their first look, he just kept spinning her and looking at her over and over and over again. It was so sweet to see the two of them - inseparable the rest of the day. You can see from her beautiful bridal session why he just kept spinning her - she is stunning!  Their love for their Lord and one another was so sweet - I cannot wait to share photos from their gorgeous wedding.

Kate, you are stunning. The way you laugh at everything, the way you see the best in others, the way you love to dance (as I saw this past Saturday!), the way you live life, the way you cry when something moves you, the way you love Mike and make him smile - you are truly beautiful from the inside out.  Your style is gorgeous - the dress, the veil, the bouquet, the shoes! I am so excited to share images from your wedding day, just as I have been so excited to share this bridal session.

I spent the afternoon with Lara and tiny Gracie the other week, and had such a sweet time! Grace is growing growing growing, and it's amazing to see her little personality shine in her smile, her laughs, her looks, her giggles. She is one happy baby. I loved Lara's idea for the session - portraying all of the many hats that Lara wears! Mom, Business owner, Magazine editor, Consultant... the list goes on and on. What better way than to capture Lara at her desk, with happy Grace in her lap!

Lara, I am so thankful for you. What a role model you are! Wife, Mama, Leader, Inspiration, business owner... always blessings others and infusing power and motivation into the lives of many. Congratulations to Michael and Michelle on a beautiful and very exciting wedding this past Saturday!  Michelle - you were stunning. I'm so happy that amidst the storms, you were able to have your sunny outdoor ceremony.  And even though the party ended a little early due to monsoon-like conditions, you two had such a great attitude about it. I know you'll be able to weather any more storms that come your way - together.

If I could describe Brittaney with one word, it would be joyful. She exudes joy in everything she does. In her laughter, in her tears, in her beauty, in the way she simply talks to me, friends, her sweet family, her now-husband... she is so happy to be alive and in love. She is grateful for each day she is given. That's the kind of person she is, and you only have to spend about 5 minutes with her to realize that about her :]
