If you know me at all, or have followed me on instagram for any length of time, you probably already know how much I love these two. A little over a year ago I had the privilege of photographing Cassie and Brooks’ mountain top, vineyard wedding. It was so beautiful and such a sweet reflection of these two as a couple. What I didn’t realize was that I would be not only getting some wonderful clients, but also a sweet, sweet friend. Cassie and I hit it off from day one, and have since then had the joy of monthly chats and praying for each other lots, through both of our first years of marriage.
About month 6 into their marriage Cassie and I were already talking about doing an anniversary session, just as an excuse to hangout! But as their first anniversary got closer and closer, Cassie and Brooks found out that they would be moving to Texas for her job. Suddenly the idea of doing a session in their first home together with their pups and celebrating their first year as newlyweds, seemed that much more sentimental.
I am most certainly going to miss my sweet friend and client, but have loved every minute of this last year and a half, getting to know Cassie and Brooks and celebrate all seasons of life with them. Cassie and Brooks, you two have been such a sweet blessing in my life and I will miss you both so very much! But cheers to the next adventure life takes you two on, and to LOTS of coffee dates when you are in Raleigh visiting!
