I traveled to Caroline’s hometown of Fayetteville, NC for her bridal session and could not have been more excited about it. I’ve said it a million times, but I’ll say it again: I love seeing the places that are important to people and how it’s made them who they are today. It makes me feel like I get to know them on a fast track, and this session was no different. Caroline decided that there were three things that were important for her to include in her session: her sweet dog, her grandmother’s backyard and the quaint downtown of Fayetteville where her family’s business has been for 100 years. If you ask me, I’d say we nailed those three things perfectly.
I’m convinced that Caroline’s dress was made for her. It’s simple and elegant, yet unique with the brocade subtle pattern, just like her. Add her momma’s lace veil and her piercing blue eyes, and you’ve got a showstopper. It’s hard to believe, but she looked even more beautiful on her wedding day this past weekend because there was a glow about her that was different than this day as she joined hands with Ian and committed her life to him. I can’t wait to show you the pictures from their incredible wedding day!
