I officially love shooting sessions around the Capitol building downtown. I don’t know what it is, but those sessions always are with clients who I’m like “YES. I like you. Let’s hang out ASAP.” Cameron and Daniel’s maternity session was absolutely no different: there was lots of great conversation, laughing, and I’m officially extremely excited to photograph their newborn session in just a couple of months.

I know I just met them. I know I only spent an hour with them. But I can tell that Cameron and Daniel are going to be the best kind of parents. The kind who are truly invested in spending time with their kid, but who don’t overlook the importance of spending time with each other, too. The way they talked and laughed with each other during pictures spoke volumes about the way they enjoy life together, and how that will be no different as they embark upon a brand new adventure welcoming a little one into the world in just a couple of months!
