In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things…
There were so many sweet little things that I observed throughout Brittany and Drew’s wedding day – the gifts that they so thoughtfully gave each other, the look on each of their faces as they recited their vows, the small glances they gave each other that said “I can’t believe today is our day”, the moment they walked into their empty reception to see all the hard work of the details finally come together, the countless times Drew carried Brittany’s veil and dress as we adventured around UNC’s campus, and the dance they shared alone on the dance floor at the end of the night. It’s no secret that these two are truly best friends and the little things that I know they will do for one another over time will add up to one big thing: a beautiful marriage and companionship.
These two love to dance. So much so that the first night they met, they danced the whole night so it was perfect that their wedding reception was the same way. Their dance floor was one of the most fun ones I have ever seen. Throughout the whole night, there were people of all ages letting loose and dancing the night away. Brittany and Drew were there the whole night, and I love nothing more than to see the Bride and Groom truly enjoying themselves at their own wedding. Maybe it’s because Jamie and I love to dance so much and that’s exactly what we did at our wedding, but I think it’s the greatest place to be on your wedding day. Without a doubt in my mind, I know that these two are going to continue to dance through their life together!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Newman! You two are such a joy!
