Oh happy day! If I had to describe this wedding in one phrase, it would be “Southern hospitality meets joyful wedding celebration.” Just like their engagement session, Ashley and Brian’s put a lot of time and effort into making sure that their wedding day would be unique to their love and story. The whole day was beautifully styled and planned around the things that they both love. The backyard games, ice cream cart, bottled soda, and miniature foods were just a few of my favorite touches that they included in their celebration. I love the way that these small details brought all of their guests together and was a fun way to keep everyone entertained throughout the whole day!
My favorite part of their wedding day was the meaningful ceremony, where there were many tears and belly laughs. As a nod to Ashley’s teaching career, they asked their sweet niece to read the book Before You, which had the whole crowd smiling. They were married by one of Brian’s closest friend and Ashley’s grandmother, and joyfully recessed while their guests waved ribbon wands. From beginning to end, this wedding day was so much fun!
