I met Anne and Alex at the campus of their alma mater, the University of North Carolina. Although they were practically next door neighbors, it took a trip halfway around the world for them to actually meet. Alex was traveling while Anne was studying abroad in Florence, Italy, when they met (which just so happens to be one of my favorite places in the world)! Alex and Anne love to travel. They have been all over the world, and I can’t wait to hear about their final honeymoon plans. I know it must be somewhere magical.

This sweet couple currently lives in Atlanta, and believe it or not, it had been years since they had been back on UNC’s campus. I had such a great time listening to them reminisce as we walked up and down Franklin Street. I loved to see their eyes light up as we passed their favorite bar or their favorite place to get a late night snack when they were there as students. We ended our session at their favorite coffee shop, Caffe Driade, which seems to be quite the hidden gem in Chapel Hill. In college, Alex and Anne would take a study break and meet there to play backgammon and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee on their outside veranda complete with twinkle lights.

Congratulations, Alex and Anne! I am beyond excited for your Beaufort wedding in April!
