When your bride is an incredibly talented artist (you HAVE to check her out, here!) You naturally do their engagement session at the North Carolina Art Museum. However, this session was so much more than just walking through the fields in the back. Knowing that Anna Vaughn loves and appreciates art, she and Hatcher wanted to go to some different spots around the grounds of the museum. And y’all, let me tell you, it was so fun. It allowed me to step outside of what I feel I often get stuck in time and time again, and be creative. We chose some contrasty back drops, took full advantage of the art at the museum, and laughed way too much.
From the very beginning, every conversation I had with Anna Vaughn I enjoyed, we really seemed to click. What I didn’t know, however, was how funny Hatcher was going to be. I love when a groom not only goes along with whatever crazy ideas the bride and I have come up with, but also encourages it and adds some of his own craziness to the session.
Anna Vaughn and Hatcher, it was such a joy to spend an evening with you both exploring the Art Museum and I cannot wait for your beautiful wedding just around the corner!
