To give you an idea about the atmosphere of this amazing wedding, I want to share a couple statistics with you. Alison and Drew celebrated their wedding with 71 family members and 79 wonderful friends. They had guests travel from Mexico, Iceland, France, Switzerland and Canada, the longest distance traveled was 6,705 miles from Mongolia. It was clear that Alison and Drew’s guests traveled near and far, by plane, train, boat, and car to get to their wedding, and that was not going to go unnoticed. My favorite part of the whole day was during their ceremony when the officiant asked the guests to stand, when appropriate as she recognized each group of people that were in attendance and why they were special to Alison and Drew.
Although Alison and Drew have lived in many different places all over the country, their lasting friendships confirm their loyalty to the people that they love, which is why I know that they are going to have a long and loyal marriage.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Goltermann! I am so honored to have been able to be a part of your beautiful wedding celebration!

Stunning photos!! And, what an encouraging post to read about family and friends traveling near and far. My husband and I are getting ready to move away from home. While we’re excited about the new adventure ahead, it is scary and sad to leave such strong relationships. What a great reminder that those relationships don’t have to lessen due to distance! PS My husband LOVES the Nikes Drew is wearing.
Such a gorgeous wedding!! And Alison, if you’re reading this, big hugs to you because I got married at Fearrington the day after you, and we split the barn draping/lighting cost! Such a blessing!
